Both Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Sale yearlings offered by South Point Sales sold on August 6 for six-figure prices.
Hip #156, a Pennsylvania-bred daughter of Hard Spun, was purchased by Coffee Pot Stables for $360,000. Bred by Blackstone Farm, the classy filly is the highest-priced Hard Spun yearling sold in 2019. The $360,000 hammer price is also 8 times more than Hard Spun’s 2017 stud fee.

South Point is proud to have offered the first yearling by Eclipse Champion Big Blue Kitten, Hip #196, a stunning $130,000 filly. Purchased by Martin Anthony, the chestnut out of a MGSW daughter of English Channel was bred by Calumet Farm where Big Blue Kitten stands for $15,000.

South Point Sales has now offered 7 summer yearlings at Fasig-Tipton July and Fasig-Tipton July and all 7 have found new homes.
