April 26 – Hip #370, a filly by Street Boss, sold for $350,000 during the third day of the OBS April Two-Year-Olds in Training Sale. The filly was first a commercial success for Daniel Cuniffe’s Homepride Farm, who sold her with South Point Sales for $110,000 at last year’s Keeneland September Yearling auction.
David Ingordo purchased the filly in September on behalf of GrassRoots Training & Sales who oversaw her continued development over the past six months. The flashy chestnut caught the eye of OBS April buyers with a quick and fluid :9.4 breeze, the co-fastest of the sale (watch below). Alrashid USA Group made the winning $350,000 bid.
The filly is the latest successful pinhook for a South Point buyer following a $300,000 Jimmy Creed colt at the OBS March sale.
